Product Launch Checklist

There are hundreds of things you could do for a launch. This checklist focuses on the few that consistently move the needle for SaaS and app teams using Synerva—especially around your coming soon, waitlist, countdown, and launch pages.

Phase 1 — Foundation (4–8 weeks before launch)

This is when you give your future traffic a “home” and set up the core building blocks of your launch system.

  • Create a coming soon page on your root domain using the Synerva coming soon builder. Aim for one strong message and a clear waitlist form.
  • Spin up a dedicated waitlist landing page at /waitlist-landing-page for campaigns and targeted channels.
  • Decide on your primary launch offer (trial, lifetime discount, beta access) and reflect it in both pages.

Phase 2 — Prelaunch (2–3 weeks before launch)

Now you're aligning story, design, and expectations. You don't want to improvise your positioning the night before.

  • Create or refine your prelaunch landing page at /prelaunch-landing-page, using it to explain your product story in more depth than the coming soon page.
  • Set an internal target launch date and, once you're confident, expose it through a countdown page connected to your main pages.

Phase 3 — Launch week

This is when everything converges. Your launch page becomes the main call-to-action in your funnel.

  • Publish your product launch page at /product-launch-page with pricing, feature breakdowns, and social proof.
  • Update all upstream pages — your coming soon, waitlist, and prelaunch pages should now point clearly to the main launch page.
  • Confirm your sitemap and internal links so search engines understand your launch content (Synerva's sitemap includes coming soon, waitlist, prelaunch, countdown and launch URLs).

Phase 4 — Post-launch

The week after launch, your goal is to turn a one-time moment into a durable acquisition system.

  • Keep your launch page live as an evergreen feature or “What's new” destination.
  • Convert your coming soon page into a teaser for the next big release instead of taking it offline.

Launch checklist FAQ

Do I really need all of these pages?

No. The point of this checklist is to show how they fit together, not to demand every team create every page. At minimum, we recommend a coming soon page during the build and a strong launch page on the big day.

How does Synerva compare to other launch tools?

Tools like CMNGSN and SeedProd are useful for simple pages, but Synerva is built around exportable code and a multi-stage launch system. If you're evaluating options, read our CMNGSN alternative and SeedProd alternative pages for detail.

Where can I learn more about the pages themselves?
